We are coming to WDW in December 2014. My question is we are staying on the property for only 3 nights and then the rest of our stay is off property. Can we use the magical bands for our whole stay or only when we are staying on the property?

    Hi Carolyn!

Vacationing in Walt Disney World during the holiday season is my favorite time to visit.  You are sure to enjoy fabulous weather and Magical holiday decorations!

You may use your Magic Band for entry to the theme parks as long as you have valid park tickets linked to them.  Receiving Magic Bands will be a nice perk for you from staying in a Disney resort hotel during the first leg of your trip.  Guests who are not staying at a Disney resort hotel now have the option of purchasing Magic Bands and linking park tickets to them as well.

Have a Fantasmic vacation Carolyn!  I hope you enjoy your Magic Bands as much as I have.  If you have any other questions, be sure to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and ask them here.  We love to help!

    Blessings,

Meet the Panelist: Brenda, Missouri

I fell in love with Walt Disney World on my very first visit, which took place during my honeymoon. Since then we have added 4 "mouseketeers" to our family and have come to appreciate what a great value a Walt Disney World vacation can be on a budget. As a Physical Therapist and a mom of a large family, I would love to help you plan your next magical trip! Learn More About Brenda
