Coming to WDW Dec.8-16.. party of 23.. excited about the new Glow with the Show ears.. Do the batteries come with the ears? If not, what type and how many batteries are needed: Thanks!

Hi Susan! When you purchase the Glow With the Show new Mickey ear hats they will already have batteries in them and be ready to go. They cost about $24 each. I will caution you that they are quite heavy on the head and not as comfortable as regular Mickey ear hats so they might not be something you will want to wear for long periods of time in the parks. If you have younger children with you I also found that the hats don't fit the smaller heads well and couldn't keep one on my 7 year old grandson for more then about 15 minutes. I have not found children's sizes yet but hope this is something Disney will address and come out with if they haven't already.

I hope I am not diminishing your excitement but I would rather have you know possible issues ahead of the game then after you have purchased hats for 23 people! Once you arrive find a vendor in the parks and just try it out before having everyone buy them.
