Hi, Melissa!
There are many ways to save on your vacation. Make sure you check
HERE for Special Offers. If there is one that applies to your travel dates, call a Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY to have your vacation updated with the promotion price (if applicable). When booking your tickets, stick with a "base" ticket. Options such as water parks and park hopping are nice, but this really adds to the price of your ticket. For your room, stick with a standard view, or the least expensive room at your resort. You can save a bunch of money this way.
OK - onto goodies in WDW that are FREE!
-Cups of ice water at counter service locations in lieu of soft drinks or bottled water. FREE!
-Visit Downtown Disney, no admission cost. There is shopping, street entertainers, restaurants, or just lounge around and enjoy the atmosphere. Stop in the World of Disney Store, as cast members are often handing out free Mickey Mouse stickers.
-Stop by Fort Wilderness for the free Campfire and Sing Along with Chip and Dale, presented nightly at the campgrounds.
-Celebrating a birthday or other occasion? Stop by Guest Services in any park for your FREE celebration button.
-If you are near the lovely Polynesian Resort, stop by the front desk, say "Aloha!" and ask for a free lei. So fun! While at the Polynesian (make it an evening visit) take a rest on the beach where you can enjoy a movie, see the Electric Water Pageant sail by, and get a great view of Wishes! from the Magic Kingdom.
