Hello, Coming to WDW Dec 3 for 8 days. Are there any must see or must do events/activities you could recommend. Trying to plan out our itinerary. What is the best thing to do on the first day in Disney? Thanks for your time.

Hi Lynne!  I always suggest that families take it easy on their first arrival day at Disney.  Traveling is quite stressful these days and it is more fun to arrive, check into your resort, and relax.  Get to know all the amenities your resort has to offer.  Perhaps take a bus to Downtown Disney to walk around and see the shops and pick a restaurant there for your first dining experience. There are many great ones to choose from.

Your first full day will find you rested and ready to trek to a park.  Check the park calendars to decide which one to start with according to Extra Magic Hours or anything else that might be happening at that time.

Each park has great attractions. Some of my favorites include:
Magic Kingdom:Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, and so many more.
Animal Kingdom: Festival of the Lion King, Kilimanjaro Safari, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Bugs Life
Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania, Muppet Vision 3D, Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster
EPCOT: Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Turtle Talk With Crush, Test Track

These are just a few of the many great attractions you can experience. Each park is worth a visit for at least one day!
