Coming to WDW 11/27-12/05 with my DH, DD7, DS3, and my Mom. We want to make this a special trip for her, it is her 2nd time to WDW (our 4th as a family) and her first trip was not a good experience. What dinner show would you recommend? Character meal?

I'm so sorry to hear that you mom had anything but a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Tracie.  I hope that you can remedy that this go 'round.  One good start would be to take her to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.  It's arguably the most popular dinner show on property, and definitely a big hit with everyone in my family!  My family can also wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Garden Grill at Epcot as a great character meal opportunity.  We love the fact that the restaurant rotates {very, very slowly!}, offering guests a glimpse inside the Living with the land attraction.  So, too, does this restaurant boast menu items harvested from within The Land.  And when you consider that farmer Mickey and his pals stop by your table to sign autographs and pose for pictures, well, it's pretty tough to beat.  Sending best wishes for a sure-fire trip this time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
