Coming to WDW in 25 days! We are staying at the Polynesian. What extras are standard in the room? Blow dryer, refrig, coffee maker? And do they ever upgrade your room for free?

    Hi Patricia,

You must be so excited for your upcoming vacation!  The Polynesian is a beautiful resort, and it's so easy to get around Walt Disney World from there.  I think you're really going to enjoy your stay.

I'm not sure what you would consider extras, but the rooms at the Polynesian do indeed have hair dryers, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker.  They also have an iron/ironing board, iPod docking station and in-room safe.  The rooms are also a bit larger than rooms at some of the other deluxe resorts.

Hi speed internet access is available for a daily fee.

As far as upgrades go.  It can sometimes happen that a guest will receive an upgrade - usually a better view.  It never hurts to ask.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
