We are coming to wdw 9/8/12 to celebrate my two 3yoDDs adoptions. Does wdw offer any special celebration "stuff" for that type of thing like they do for birthdays? We are gonna do BBB and have ADR for two princess meals. Any other celebration ide

    Hi there Meghan!

My husband and I are also adoptive parents so, I know how very special this occasion is for your family. I can think of no better place to celebrate your little princesses joining their forever family than through a trip to Walt Disney World!

I'd recommend that you start by contacting the Dream Makers at Disney Florist for some ideas and suggestions. Surely "A Royal Welcome" package delivered to one of your table service meals or your Disney resort guest room would help honor your daughters in royal style!

Perhaps a custom cake would be the icing on this celebration! You can choose from a variety of cakes and shapes, personalized for your little ones. Just be sure to provide at least 48 hours advanced notice by calling (407) 827-2253.

Lastly, on prior adoption anniversary trips, my family and I have proudly displayed recognition buttons announcing "I'm Celebrating" to other guests and cast members. Be sure to pick up your free celebration pins at any Guest Relations location inside the theme parks!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Feel free to send more questions my way prior to your September trip! And most importantly, congratulations on the new additions to your family!
