We are coming to WDW to celebrate my daughters 5th birthday! We are not sure if she'd find any enjoyment at Epcot or Hollywood Studios? Should we focus her first trip to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kindom?

That's a tough question to answer definitively, without knowing your daughter.  What I can tell you is that my son (who will be five in August) has a great time at all four parks.  At Epcot, he loves Soarin' and Test Track.  But so, too, does he enjoy exploring Innoventions.  I would venture to say that Innoventions is one of the most underrated experiences to be found at Disney World.  My kids enjoy our visits there because they are free to explore a bit more than they can throughout the rest of the park.  In Epcot's World Showcase, my little guy loves to pick up one of the complimentary Duffy puppets and take it to each country for a stamp.  Duffy starts out plain and drab but by the time we make it through all eleven countries, Duffy boasts a colorful (courtesy of the markers widely available at the Kidcot stations) new look.

Hollywood Studios is home to my son's all-time favorite Disney attraction: Toy Story Mania.  He also loves to get up and boogie with his pals at Disney Junior.   Hollywood Studios has some really fun eateries, too.  If you have time, I would definitely visit all four parks; I think your daughter will find something to enjoy at each of them!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
