Hi! We are coming to WDW from Canada and will not have a roaming cell service on our mobile phone. If we download the My Disney Experience app, will we still be able to use the app if our phones are on "airplane mode" (non receiving mode)?

    Hi Lynley,

    Yes, you will!

This is exactly what I do each and every time that I visit the Walt Disney World Resort from the UK.

Complimentary Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) is such a huge bonus for all of us international guests. Not only does it ensure that we can take full advantage of My Disney Experience during our stay, it also means that it is really easy (and relatively inexpensive) for us to keep in touch with friends and family back at home.

You can access complimentary Wi-Fi in the majority of public spaces at the Walt Disney World Resort including:-

    •Magic Kingdom Park
    •Epcot
    •Disney's Hollywood Studios
    •Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
    •Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
    •Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
    •Disney Springs
    •Disney’s BoardWalk

Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available in your Disney Resort Hotel room as well as most bus loading zones and pool areas.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
