    Coming to WDW 6-17-12 and have breakfast reservations at (Chef Mickeys) at 9:20am. We're not staying in the resort but about a mile away. Question: Park doesnt open until 9am; will monorail be running early enough for us to make reservation?

    Hi, Melissa!

    Your vacation is super close, you must be getting so excited!   Mickey will have his parking lots open and he will be waiting for you for breakfast.  The Magic Kingdom parking lot opens and monorails start running at least one hour prior to park opening, so you will be just fine on time.   Plan to be in the parking lot by 8:30 to allow time to hop the tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center, then get on the Resort Monorail that will make a stop at the Contemporary.
     
    If you find you are running late, you can park at the Contemporary for your breakfast then move your car to the main lot after your meal.  (In fact, if the Magic Kingdom is not in your plans that day, you are better off parking at the Contemporary so you can just hop in your car and leave after breakfast.)

    Have a great time at Chef Mickeys, and make sure to say "HI" to Mickey for me!
