We are coming to WDW August 16-21. Is that still a really crowded time to come or is it slower by then?

    Cheri:

With schools, especially in the South, going back early in August, my hunch is that the crowds would be declining by your trip dates.  But don't just take it from me....

Because Value Season begins August 9, it looks like Disney feels the crowds are tapering off from summer too because the resorts on property drop their rates.  In addition, crowd sites like touringplans.com list crowds as 5 to 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 that week.  So, you can expect more moderate crowds at that time of year compared to Spring Break and Summer!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
