    Hi. We are coming to WDW in Aug for 2 weeks and have the QS plan but will be upgrading to dining plan. I have started to make ADR 's but havent selected to use the DP as we dont have a confirmation no yet. Can we chose to pay with our DP on the day? Thanks

    Hi Donna!

         You definitely are doing the right thing by making all of your Advanced Dining Reservations now to ensure that you get the dining locations that you want.  It does not matter if you don't have a dining confirmation number yet.  When you get to the restaurant and sit down at your table, you will be asked whether you are on the Disney Dining Plan or not.  The next question that your server will ask is what is the particular Dining Plan that you have and they usually look at your Key to the World Card (your room key) to verify this information.  Many times I have made my Advanced Dining Reservations at 180 days before my trip without a Dining Plan, but I knew that I was going to have a Dining Plan by the time my trip came.  This is a great tip to get the Advanced Dining Reservations that you want especially if you know that a free dining promotion is coming out soon!
