    Coming to WDW Aug. 14-21. Looking for a special experience to do with 7, 9, 12 year old sons. Just saw the S.A.S. (Surface Air Snorkeling) Experience at Typhoon Lagoon, but can't find any specific info about pricing/how to sign up. Love for us to try it!

    Hi there Jessica!

    I love snorkeling!  Snorkeling inside Shark Reef is included with the admission price of Typhoon Lagoon and features snorkeling with live sharks and tropical fish. My kids love Shark Reef! Well, my daughter a little more than my son! He kind of freaked out a little when he saw all the fish swimming in the water with HIM! My daughter liked it so much that she did it three times last year! It's one of our first stops when we arrive at the park! Basically, all you have to do is walk over to where you pick up your gear and then head to the line area.

    If you want to spend more time exploring the waters of Shark Reef, you can extend your experience using tanks. Visit Hammer Head Fred's Dive Shop and ask about the SAS (Supplied Air Snorkeling) system. This equipment is available for an additional charge. I checked the Allears.net website and was able to find out that the experience lasts thirty minutes and there is an approximate charge of twenty dollars. Sounds like it should be a lot of fun!
