Hi Donald,
Welcome back to planDisney!
It's great to hear that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
In the past, we had to request
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Guest Relations when we entered a theme park. Although you will still be able to make the request that way, we just recently received news that we may be able to pre-enroll prior to arrival through
Disney Genie Service.
When we have used Disability Access Service in the past, it has been so helpful. Remember that this service is specifically designed for Guests who cannot tolerate a traditional queue. If you are using a wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV), there are other accommodations at each attraction. If you have a
mobility disability, be sure to also note the attractions that require you to transfer to the ride vehicle. If you request DAS in the parks, be sure to talk with a Cast Member about the logistics of using it and to confirm how many other Guests can be affiliated with your DAS so that you all can ride together.
Remember to also make
advanced dining reservations. These have been a must-do for us to help minimize our time waiting. And be sure to check all of the
Services for Guests with Disabilities prior to your visit. You might find the Guides for Guests with Disabilities helpful as you navigate the parks. Check out each guide for
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Donald, keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and
operational updates as additional details are released. In the meantime, start packing, check out our

Magic and memories,
