    Hi Rebecca!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The Wilderness Lodge is a fabulous resort and it is also very romantic.  It is my favorite place to stay at Walt Disney World.  One of the most romantic restaurants in all of Walt Disney World is at the Wilderness Lodge, though it is a Signature Table Service restaurant requiring 2 Disney Dining Credits to dine there:  Artist Point.

While you are at the Wilderness Lodge, you should definitely rent a boat and explore both Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.  You might also consider doing a private carriage ride at Fort Wilderness which is kind of romantic. You can get to Fort Wilderness easily via a boat that runs between the Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, and the Contemporary Resort.

Since you can get to the Contemporary so easily via the boat, that also means that you can easily get to the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian.  I suggest looking at the menu of the restaurants in those resorts to see if any appeal to you.  You can find the menu for all of the Table Service and Quick Service locations in Walt Disney World at the independent website AllEars.Net.  The team at All Ears does a  great job keeping their information current.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
