We will be coming to WDW again in April while I am attending a conference. My husband plans to bring our 2 & 5yr old into the parks by himself a couple of days. Will he be able to walk with our 5yr old to board a ride then wait for her there? Thanks

    Hi Holly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your husband will actually be surprised at the attractions in the Parks, geared towards all ages. What he'll discover are many bench style seating arrangements, allowing for the three of them to enjoy the rides together. Pirates of the Caribbean, for example, allows for several guests to sit beside one another, as the attraction takes place in a pirate-themed boat!

Although many attractions are indoors, quite lengthy and out of sight, there are a few attractions your husband could allow your princess to ride by herself with the ability to see her throughout the ride's entirety. I can think of The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and The Barnstormer in Magic Kingdom, as examples. Simply have your husband wait in line, then ask the Cast Member at the front of the attraction to seat your daughter as a single rider. It will really work quite smoothly for him, as Cast Members are trained to accommodate all scenarios.

My guess is your husband won't miss many rides once he sees the excitement in your children's faces up close and personal! They are at the perfect ages to enjoy the magic of a Walt Disney World vacation and with parades, fireworks and a multitude of family attractions, I know they'll have a wonderful time.

Thanks for your question, Holly, and feel free to ask us anything else coming to mind.
