We are coming to wdw 6/27-7/7, 2 adults, kids g9, b6, at AKL. Wondering how much to budget just for souvenirs rfor us. Kids and grdparents first time here. It's all about the kids..and us together. But a Surprise 4 the kids. Excited...Thanks.

Hey John and what a fantastic surprise for your children.  Okay so the question of how much to take for souvenirs, that is a really tough one.  Your kids could literally find something in each and every store they entered that they would love to take home with them.  My recommendation would be to either give them a set amount each day, or give them a total for the week.  On the first couple of days let them see what is out there and then go back and purchase their very favorite items.  Some favorites include t-shirts, stuffed animals and of course you all have got to get some ears.  A good recommendation might be $50 per day (per child) or $250 for the week for each child.  One important note is that all parks do not necessarily carry the same items.  So if they find a safari Mickey that they love at AK, and you are not going back there, buy it that day, as you probably will not find it in another park.
I hope I have helped you in your planning and I truly hope you guys have a fantastic vacation at the end of this month.  Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.
