We're coming to Walt Disney World at the end of September for a week. Is there anywhere that I can find which rides/attractions might be closed for maintenance while we are there? It would be good to let my family know in advance if possible.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Gary ~

Your trip is literally around the corner and I bet you are too excited to sleep! That is an excellent question. I like planning ahead and letting my family know if there are any scheduled closures.

There is an interactive calendar on the Walt Disney World website that lists refurbishments. Once you reach that link, you can click on the small calendar icon to select your dates of visit. Click on the "Refurbishment" button to include that in your search filter. You can also filter your search by selecting the theme parks, water parks, or other locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Make sure you scroll down the page to see all of the listed information.

Another option is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. From the home screen, click on your personal avatar at the bottom center of the screen. Under "Park Info & Entry", select "Park Hours". Next choose a date (swipe left to change the month). Scroll down and it will give you the park hours. Below that it will list any schedule closures and refurbishments.

While Disney does a great job to update these sites and listings, keep in mind that attractions may close at any time without notice.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We will be hEAR for you until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
