We are coming to Walt Disney World in April and staying at the Coronado Springs Resort. Is this a good hotel for kids (ages 4 and 6)? What kinds of activities are at the hotel for children? Are there slides at the pools? Thanks!

    Hola Stephanie,

Glad you stopped by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let me help you with some suggestions and tips to better plan your best vacation ever.

My family and I have stated several times at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. In fact, it is our favorite of all moderate Resort hotels. And your kids will love the Dig Site, with the Lost City of Cibola Pool, themed after Mayan ruins, with a 123-foot-long water slide. But it also hosts the largest hot tub in the whole Walt Disney World Resort, so you can relax too.

But that is just the beginning. There are lots of other recreational activities, like an awesome playground, Fiesta Pool Party, Movies Under the Stars and Campfire with Marshmallows, to name a few. There's even adult-theme activities at Laguna Bar. When you Check-In to the Resort, you will receive a copy of the Resort Activities calendar, which includes a list of the daily activities available.

One last tip: the Resort is undergoing refurbishments to be completed by this summer. In fact, Gran Destino Tower is already accepting reservations for stays starting July 2019. Nos vemos pronto!
