Hi we are coming to visit my parents in Florida over Thanksgiving. I booked 5 days at allstar movies. I need to purchase tickets next. Can my parents buy Florida resident tickets for my 3 kids under 18? Also can I link those tickets to my kids on app?

    Hiya Elizabeth!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for making us part of your magical vacation! I absolutely love that you are planning a visit with your family, as I have the most wonderful memories from my own family trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. As Minnie Mouse said, there's no better kind of magic than the one we make when we're all together, and I think that is true Disney magic!

When it comes to Florida-resident theme park tickets, they are really intended to be used by Florida residents. Therefore, each Guest is required to provide proof of Florida residence when purchasing or using these theme park tickets. In addition, Guests who do not have proof of residency, such as children, must provide proof that they live with other Guests who can provide proof of residence. Valid proof of residence includes Florida-state IDs, mail or bills no older than two months old, and proof of mortgage.

To answer your second question, it is possible to reassign theme park tickets to another Guest in My Disney Experience. Indeed, as long as the tickets have not been used, they can be reassigned to another user. This includes special events tickets such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! To do so, simply log into your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans" under the My Disney Experience tab. There, you will be able to click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker," locate the ticket you want to reassign and click on "Reassign Ticket." If you are using the mobile app, click on the three-line menu at the bottom right of your screen and then "Tickets and Passes."

I know this probably wasn’t the answer you were hoping for, but I hope I could still provide some helpful information and pixie dust. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out! You've got a friend in us here at planDisney.

    Have a magical day,
