I am coming for a visit and will be with an 18 month, 4 & 5 year old. If you purchase a one day ticket to the Magic Kingdom, can you leave the park and return later in the day ? Also, do you have to re pay for parking each time ?

    Hi Kara,

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World with your little ones!  You might enjoy this linked page about Planning for Pre-School Kids which can help you plan your magical day.  On this page you will find a downloadable guide to help you make your visit a special one to remember.

Good news!  Yes you may leave and re-enter the theme parks on the same day with your Magic Your Way theme park ticket.  In fact when visiting with young children, one of my top tips is to take an afternoon break.  Even older children who do not take a nap anymore can benefit from some rest and relaxation in the afternoon before heading back to the theme parks for the evening.

More good news!  You only have to pay once for parking each day.  Simply keep your parking receipt and present it at the booth when you return later in the day.  It's that simple.

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and submitting your question to us Kara.  Please let us know if you have any more vacation planning questions.  We love to help make your vacation plans more magical!

    Blessing,
