coming to visit Dec 2011 for 10 days :) having to stay at a value resort, Im wondering are there less options than staying at a moderate or deluxe resort. ie: buses, stores or laundry on site. Thanks

Hi, Dawn!   While you will not have all the luxuries available at a Deluxe Resort, I think you will be pleased with the services and quality at a Value Resort!

A Value Resort will have everything you need to have a comfortable vacation - Disney transportation, food court, gift shop (which stocks basic grocery items as well as souvenirs), laundry facilities, and awesome 24/7 Disney service!

What you gain by upgrading to a Deluxe Resort are fancier accommodations, better quality linens, sit-down restaurants, and pool slides just to name a few of the upgrades.   ALL nice features, but stuff you really can live without and still have an amazing vacation!

We have stayed at everything from standard Value rooms to fantastic Deluxe rooms, and every vacation has its own special magic regardless of where we slept at night!   Enjoy your 10 day holiday vacation in Walt Disney World next year!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
