Hi Neil, welcome to planDisney!
You have a magical journey ahead, one that leads to
Walt Disney World Resort. Every mile will be worth your while the moment you lay eyes on your daughter laying eyes on Cinderella Castle.
You heard correctly, Neil. All Guests under the age of three are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and do not need valid admission, a theme park reservation, or a method of entry (Disney band, admission card, or Disney MagicMobile pass) like their accompanying adults. When entering a theme park, your daughter may be asked for a smile or a wave, but she will not have to show any form of ID. During your park days, your daughter's passport can be kept secure in the safe of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, if applicable.
It's important to note that advance reservations for dining must be made for everyone in your party, including infants. This ensures you're seated at a table that can accommodate everyone. When my kids were toddlers, they absolutely loved celebrating Friendship Day with Winnie the Pooh and friends at
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park. I recommend making an early morning breakfast reservation - the early bird gets the least-crowded photos in front of Cinderella Castle and the first batch of Mickey waffles of the day.
PlanDisney would love to be your planning partner on this magical journey, Neil. Please don't hesitate to reach out with additional questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
