Hi Rachel! Welcome back to planDisney! I’m so happy to be able to help you today.
A two-week visit to
Walt Disney World sounds like an absolute dream! There are so many new and exciting things to explore at Walt Disney World these days, so I’m so excited to see that you’ll have more than enough time to take it all in! Did you know that you’ll be arriving just in time to experience
EPCOT’s newest attraction,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind? I had the opportunity to preview this incredible attraction, and I can tell you that the Walt Disney Imagineering Team has really outdone themselves with this intergalactic race through space! If you’re a thrill-seeker, like me, you will absolutely love it! Now, this attraction will be available via a virtual queue, so you’ll want to make sure you have your
My Disney Experience app downloaded and ready to go on the day you plan to visit EPCOT. Alternatively, it will also be available as a purchased
Disney Genie+ Individual Lightning Lane selection from your My Disney Experience app, starting at 7 a.m. each morning. So, will you help The Guardians of the Galaxy crew save the universe?
On to your question, Rachel! Unfortunately, there is currently no
Walt Disney World Bus Service between the theme parks and Disney Springs. So, you will need to transfer over to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel to grab a bus to Disney Springs. Since you’ll be headed from
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I recommend hopping on the
Disney Skyliner and getting off at the first stop, D
isney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. From there, you can simply walk over to the resort’s bus stop and wait for the next bus over to Disney Springs. Now, there is sometimes a wait for the bus to arrive, so I recommend giving yourself at least one hour if you decide to take this route. Alternatively, you can use a ride share service, like Lyft, though this won’t be complimentary like the Walt Disney World Bus service. I have started using these services during recent trips when I’m in a hurry, and it works really well! It’s almost always just a few short minutes until a driver is available to pick me up, and the cost is quite reasonable! The drive between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and
Disney Springs is only approximately 10 minutes. Still, give yourself a fair amount of time to get there (about 45 minutes), even if you use a ride share service. Better safe than sorry, I always say!
I hope you found this answer helpful! As you continue to prep for your upcoming visit, know that we are here to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. So, please visit us again with any questions you may have.
Bye for now!
