Hi Sarah and welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you'll be visiting
Walt Disney World this Spring! Your visit is just a few short weeks away now and if your family is anything like mine, you'll probably be excitedly counting down the days until you arrive!
In my opinion, the key to making the most out of any trip to Walt Disney World is planning ahead so, I can completely understand you wanting to purchase your Lightning Lane passes before you fly out to the US.
Unfortunately, Sarah, whilst it is possible to purchase
Lightning Lane passes 7 days in advance of your check-in date via the US version of the Walt Disney World website, it is not possible to do so via the UK version.
Currently, it is only possible for Guests from the UK to
purchase Lightning Lane passes upon arrival in the US.
Assuming that you will be staying at Walt Disney World for 14-nights, I would suggest planning to purchase your Lightning Lane passes for the second week of your stay. This will give you a wider variety of Lightning Lane experiences to choose from and arrival windows.
During the first week, use your jet-lag to your advantage and make the most of
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. Crowds tend to be quieter first thing in the morning so this will enable you to experience some of the most popular attractions with a shorter wait.
I hope that this has answered your question, Sarah. Please feel free to revisit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
