Coming from the UK and understand we cannot register for DAS in advance and need to go to guest services when we arrive - however if we do that will we still be able to take advantage of pre-selecting two rides per day?

    Hi Amanda! Welcome to planDisney.

I'm sure the excitement is building for your magical Holiday at Walt Disney World Resort. There is so much happening for 50th Anniversary Celebration. You can indulge in specialty-themed treats found in the 50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide. Look for Walt's Chili-Cheese Dog from Casey's Corner at Magic Kingdom Park.

I am so glad you are planning to utilize the Disability Access Service (DAS) offering an inclusive theme park experience for those individuals who have trouble tolerating traditional queue wait times. And you are indeed correct, residents from the UK, will have to qualify at Guest Relations in person once they have entered one of the theme parks. Please make sure you have linked your entire travel party in your "Family & Friends List" under the "My Profile" tab of your My Disney Experience Mobile App. This way you are ready to make your first DAS selection once access to the service is granted. The two pre-selections are for those guests who qualify for the pre-arrival video chat interview. The good news once approved your DAS status is active for 60 days. Did you know, that DAS works during special ticketed events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? Also, for your convenience, a DAS tab is available on your My Disney Experience Mobile App for attraction selections. You can find it by tapping on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. To start your planning, I am including a link to the experiences available with the Disability Access Service.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question. We are always here to help.
