Hi, coming over from the UK in March ‘26. Staying off site. If I purchase the 14 day pass now and then a better price/offer becomes available am I able to alter the booking? If not what benefit is there to booking early? TIA

Hi Christopher and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting that you're planning to visit Walt Disney World in 2026! If you ask me, it's never too early to book your next trip. I mean, who doesn't love having a brand new holiday booked to count down the days to?

As you probably already know, it is now possible to purchase UK and Ireland Exclusive Disney Magic Tickets for visits in 2026, from here in the UK.

I am guessing that you have noticed the 20% Off 14-Day Tickets in Summer 2025 Deal which is currently being offered and are wondering if you decided to purchase your tickets now and a similar deal was offered for 2026 tickets at a later date, what would happen.

I have just called the Walt Disney Travel Company to double-check this and the lady I spoke to said that when purchasing tickets only, they are 100% non-refundable.

Although it states on the website that there are "currently no amendment fees to change your tickets up to 7 days before travel" this applies to guests wanting to change the dates of their visit. (She did, however, go on to say that if you did want to change the dates of your visit, although there wouldn't be an amendment fee for doing so, you could potentially have to pay the difference in price between the cost of the tickets for the new dates and that of the original tickets, if applicable).

There is no benefit of you booking your 2026 park tickets this early. For this reason, if I were you, I would probably hold off buying your park tickets until nearer the time so that should a deal become available for the dates of your visit, you can take advantage of that promotion.

Please do bear in mind though that there is, of course, no guarantee that any deals on park tickets will be offered for visits in 2026.

I hope that this has answered your question, Christopher. Please feel free to re-visit us here at planDisney with any other questions you have about your 2026 trip!

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
