Hi Emma!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am from the UK too, and I also love to plan - as far as I am concerned, it is never too early to prepare for such a wonderful holiday! If you have purchased the
14-day UK Ultimate Tickets, then you are correct that once you have used them for the first time, by entering a Walt Disney World Resort theme park or water park, you will be able to enjoy using them for 14 consecutive days before they expire. These UK Ultimate Tickets represent really good value as they include unlimited park hopping to all the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and the two water parks -
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and
Disney's Blizzard Beach, and
Memory Maker is also included. If your trip is for more than 14 days you will have some extra days at the beginning or end of your trip where you will not have valid park tickets, but I just make the most of relaxing by the pool, or visiting
Disney Springs for some shopping and dining, without needing to use any admission tickets. When purchasing tickets for an After Hours Event you may receive an email which you will need to take to any Guest Relations kiosk at the entrance to any theme park for exchange for a hard ticket, or you can link your ticket to your My Disney Experience account, which means it will be stored on your
MagicBand. I personally find it easier to have everything linked to my MagicBand so I never take it off (except when I sleep!) as I know everything is to hand. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel you can use your MagicBand in place of a room key, make charges to your room account, and if you have a Disney Dining Plan all the details of this can also be stored on your MagicBand, along with all your park tickets and Memory Maker photos.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World Resort - it is never too early to start planning!
Sue
