Boo to you, Hannah!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for popping in with a
spook-tacular
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm excited to see that you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth
so soon! Fall is a fantastic time for a fun-filled holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's chat about how you can maximize the magic during your awesome
autumn getaway!
Hannah, it sounds like you were hoping to purchase tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your upcoming holiday, but you noticed the event date is sold out. I can understand your disappointment. Upon checking the available dates for this year's special events, I do see that most of the dates in September have sold out at this time. You could check with a friendly Cast Member at a theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location for any last-minute availability once you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth, but I would make other spooky plans for that evening as a back-up option!
Don't fear, Hannah, because Magic Kingdom Park will be dressed in its festive fall best during your vacation. During your strolls down Main Street, U.S.A., you'll enjoy special seasonal views and decorations! I recommend visiting some of the Disney Resort hotels on property, as you'll find limited-time
fall treats at each one. You could spend an entire day dedicated to hopping to each resort via
complimentary transportation! Sounds pretty
sweet to me...
If you'd like the chance to interact with classic Disney pals in their Halloween attire, consider booking a lunch or dinner reservation at
Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I'm happy to share that, at the time of writing, there are plenty of reservations remaining for the dates of your visit. This would be a great opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal alongside some of our favorite Disney Characters - in costume!
Your autumn visit also coincides with the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, Hannah. I recommend taking a peek at the
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide for this year's event before heading to the theme park so you can map out your "must-eats" throughout the day! For a dash of holiday fun, participate in
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit - a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt.
Hannah, I hope you've found these suggestions helpful and I wish you a
hauntingly happy holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions before or during your stay, you're always welcome to revisit us here at planDisney! We're here to help you prepare for a
frightfully fun time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
See ya real soon,
Lauren
