Hey Howdy Hey Ashleigh and welcome to planDisney!
We are so excited you will be visiting us in the Most Magical Place on Earth for the big tournament in February. Thank you for your question on check-in times considering you are traveling with the team. I will be happy to give you a little more information and options for your check-in experience.
One of the best parts about your trip to Walt Disney World Resort and staying onsite is the option for
Direct-to-Room Service. As long as your trip is linked to your
My Disney Experience account, you can begin the check-in process before you leave for your vacation. Of the options you can select, you can select that you will be arriving earlier than the standard check-in times which for hotels is 3:00 p.m. EST and 4:00 p.m. EST for deluxe villas. As long as Disney is aware you may be arriving early, they will do their best and try to have your room ready before the standard check-in times. With the benefit of Direct-to-Room Service, you will be notified via the My Disney Experience app when your room is ready and there is no need to stop by the front desk.
If you do happen to make it to the resort and your room is not quite ready for you, there is so much of the resort you can feel free to explore. You can simply drop your belongings off with
Bell Services and feel free to roam the resort. You will have access to the pools via your MagicBand,
MagicBand+ or your
Magic Mobile Pass. You can feel free to grab a snack or meal at any of the dining locations or even hit the theme parks or
Disney Springs while you wait. Once you are in your room, you can either stop by Bell Services to collect your belongings or you can call and have them delivered to your room as long as you are there to receive them.
I hope you have a Magical stay with us during your trip in February and best of luck to all in your party competing in the UCA Nationals tournament! Feel free to stop back with any other questions you may have, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
