    Coming for 1st trip in 2/09 and spending one day in Animal Kingdom. Since it close at 5 that day, what are some good suggestions for table service after the park closes? We are staying at Pop Century. Already have two character dinners planned. Thanks

    Our family likes to dine at the Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom park. We either eat here for lunch and then have a quick service meal for dinner or we have dinner on our way out of the park. It's fun to eat with the Rainforest "animals" after a day at the Animal Kingdom. For a great finale, share the Volcano dessert.

    Even better, take the bus over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner at Boma's. This restaurant has a nice buffet and spending time at this resort is a nice way to end your touriing of the Animal Kingdom park. The AKL is one of my favorite places at Walt Disney World.

    If you still have energy, it's fun to venture over to Downtown Disney for dinner and shopping. You might also want to visit the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Enjoy a hearty BBQ meal with entertaining servers before returning to your resort.
