DH & 2 DS (7&5) are coming for our 3rd trip. Last 2 times we visited during the first two weeks of December & loved it for small crowds & good weather. Would you suggest this time again or the last week of September (MNSSHP is a plus) and w

    Hi Tara,

I think both weeks are a fantastic option, where you can expect moderate crowds and special events at the parks.  I'm a Christmas baby and am a huge fan of seeing the parks and resorts decorated in their annual holiday trim.  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and the Candlelight Processional at Epcot are two of my family's absolute favorite Disney events.  However, if you have never attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I say go for it!  My two boys (ages 7 and 9) absolutely LOVE trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom in costume.  They rate Mickey's Boo To You Parade at the top of their Disney parade lists as well.

I honestly think both weeks are fantastic.  September can still be quite warm, so if you wanted to include a visit to one of the water parks, that might be something to consider as well.

Whichever you chose, have a wonderful time!
