Stormalong Bay, the main pool for Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. It is so much fun! I think you'll be happy to know that you will absolutely be able to enjoy this super fun pool area when you arrive, even if it is before check-in time. When you get to Disney's Yacht Club Resort, you can go ahead and store all of your luggage with Bell Services. They will hold it all day for you. You can even store perishable items if you've brought any or have had some groceries delivered for your visit. You'll just want to set the cold items aside and show them anything that will need to be refrigerated. After you've stored your luggage, you are all set to enjoy some fun in the Florida sun at Stormalong Bay! When your room is ready, you can either stop back by the Bell Services counter to collect your belongings or you can head straight up to your room and use the phone to call down and ask for your things to be brought up to you. This is a complimentary service and they are pretty timely once you've called. I do like to tip the Cast Members that bring the luggage up a few dollars because I tend to have a lot of stuff. But again, this is totally up to you as it is a complimentary service.
Did you know that Stormalong Bay offers 3 acres of pool time fun? The pool itself is sand-bottom which makes for a cool experience on its own but there's also a fun water slide, a lazy river (which is where you can find me most of the time) and several hot tubs scattered about. You are going to have such a fun first-day spending time out there. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat or a fun cocktail to kick off your vacation, be sure to stop by
