I am coming 12/2 til 12/07.I have been hearing a lot about pop warner.I am staying at pop century should i change resorts.Which of values do you think will be least crowded,Thank You

Hi, Janet! I was actually at WDW last year during Pop Warner, and it was exciting to see all the young people involved in that long-standing sports tradition. Yet, I also wasn't staying at one of the resorts that provided bus transportation to and from ESPN Wide World of Sports where the event was taking place!

Since all of the value resorts (Sports, Music, Movies and Pop) and one moderate resort (Caribbean Beach) provide direct bus transportation to and from ESPN, they are most certainly going to be heavily populated with football, cheerleading and dance teams participating in Pop Warner.  My best guess is that All-Star Movies -- which have some family suites -- may be the value resort with the least amount of tournament teams.

In addition, not all Pop Warner teams stay on WDW property, and the five resorts which service ESPN are enormous.  Therefore, the impact on other guests will be minimal. Yet, if you have a concern, I have a couple of suggestions.  First, contact 407-WDISNEY or the travel agent who made your arrangements. Tell the reservationist to note on your requests that you would like to be in a building not occupied by sports teams during your stay. Also, you'll need to reiterate that request when you check in, too. My other suggestion is to consider staying at Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter. They are moderate resorts -- which for a slight room rate increase -- brings with it better amenities, convenience and atmosphere for families.
