Coming Thanksgiving week. We visited Thanksgiving 2011 and love WDW this time of year. Planning many dining res. in Epcot. Fom MK we can take monorail. From HS or AK, is it a good plan to take a bus to Beach Club and then walk into Epcot? thanks!

    Hi Chris,

Thanksgiving week is a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World!  The weather is nice and the theme parks are typically decorated for the holidays.  I love eating at Epcot!  There are so many great restaurants there.  I am glad that you are considering how to get from park to park in order to get to your dining reservations each day.  You are correct, from Magic Kingdom Park to Epcot you should take the monorail.

From Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot, you have a couple of options.  I would suggest taking a boat.  The boats go from Epcot to Hollywood Studios.  They stop at the Swan and Dolphin, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and at Disney's BoardWalk along the way.  It is a lovely and peaceful boat ride.  You could ride from Disney's Hollywood Studios to any of the resorts I mentioned and then walk the rest of the way to Epcot, or you could ride the boat the whole way from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot.  Alternatively, you can walk the whole way from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot by walking along the path that goes along the same waterway that the boat uses.  This is a pleasant walk; however, it is pretty far, so if your feet are tired from a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, they might appreciate the break you take on the boat!

From Disney's Animal Kingdom to Epcot, I think that you are correct, the best way is to take a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort.  From there, you can walk through the lobby of Disney's Beach Club Resort, along Crescent Lake, and access Epcot through the International Gateway entrance, which puts you directly into World Showcase.

I hope that this information helps, Chris!  Have a wonderful time planning your trip, and please do not hesitate to come back and ask if you have any further questions.
