We are coming on Thanksgiving for 9 days. Are mosquitos something to be concerned about at that time? Trying to be prepared. Thanks for all of the great advice!!

Hi Charlene!  It is definitely good to be proactive when it comes to the mosquito issues that are hitting the news every day. Disney is well aware of all of this and they are doing all they can to keep their guests comfortable. Each resort room will have repellent available to the guests and if not in the room the front desk can assist you with getting some. Throughout the parks you can also find repellent to use and cast members can direct you to where it is located.

The weather in Florida is so unpredictable. The end of November can be quite cool or still be in the throes of a heat wave. Mosquitos are willing to come out at almost anything Mother Nature throws at them. My family will also be spending that time there and we will have light wraps to wear in the evening keeping the arms covered.

Be prepared and use the repellent especially in the evenings and enjoy your wonderful holiday vacation while Disney continues to handle the Mosquito Control!
