A warm welcome back to planDisney, Michelle!
I'm SO happy to see that you'll be visiting Disney World later this year! I hope you get to experience the new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom later this year:
Disney Starlight! I am eagerly anticipating this new nighttime experience -- it's going to be practically perfect in every way! I can feel it!
Thinking about all of the amazing buffet options at The Most Magical Place on Earth gives me a rumbly in my tumbly -- just like Pooh Bear. Lucky for you, you'll be able to find very kid-friendly options at most buffets as there is a "Kids Section" available for them that typically includes some sort of pasta (usually mac and cheese), some sort of chicken (usually strips or nuggets), and usually some additional familiar sides. As for Table-Service restaurants: You are always allowed to ask your server if they can help accommodate dishes for your little Mouseketeers beyond what is on the menu (Cast Members are always incredibly helpful in this way), but my typical rule-of-thumb is to go off of what the online menus list for children as exceptions are never a guarantee. I would highly recommend looking at menus online or on the
My Disney Experience App before you make reservations to be sure that there is something that your little ones will enjoy.
I can't let you go without plugging a few of my favorite buffet recommendations here:
-
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge (kid-friendly options available)
-
Tusker House at Animal Kingdom (I especially love this option for breakfast)
-
Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom (very kid-friendly AND you get to meet characters from The Hundred Acre Wood)
We always love hearing from you, Michelle! If you have additional questions, just give a little whistle to planDisney again!
TTFN: Ta-Ta For Now,
Allyn
