    Hi! we coming and staying at carribean for a week in dec..I keep seing people get pins and upgrades for free or a little more $. ? is what are my chances to get one or the other ? would love an upgrade to the poly . can't do it because of budgeting THX

    Hi Ann:

    We're not privy to how Disney decides who receives PIN codes for discounts or upgrades.  I know I've never received one but I know many others who have received them.  Make sure that you create a Disney account and ordering the Disney Vacation Planning DVD so that you are in Disney's system.

    You can always feel free to ask for an upgrade upon check-in. I would be careful about expecting one, since there are no guarantees, and the request is very difficult to grant. But feel free to ask if you feel comfortable to do so, and maybe you'll be surprised. But even if Disney World is not able to accommodate your request, you will be in for a very magical vacation.
