Hi, Meredith! It's great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
As much as I absolutely love spending time with my kiddos at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I must say that I also really love it when I get the opportunity to have a Disney date with my husband! I'm glad to hEAR that your son enjoyed the Pixar Play Zone when it was open last year. Although the Pixar Play Zone is not currently being offered, I have another suggestion for you that I think you will love.
Captain Hook's Pirate Crew is now welcoming young buccaneers ages 4-12 years at
Disney's Beach Club Resort. Captain Hook is looking for new recruits, and kids who think they have what it takes can join him nightly for dinner and a pirate-style adventure.
While your son is having a swashbuckling good time, you can enjoy one of the many great date night options located near Disney's Beach Club Resort. If you're looking for some fun date night entertainment, look no further than
Disney's BoardWalk. If you and your partner are foodies, there are several excellent restaurants located at the nearby
Epcot area resort hotels.
Yachtsman Steakhouse or
Flying Fish would be great choices, and both are walking distance from Disney's Beach Club Resort. Another option would be to hop aboard the
Disney Skyliner for a ride to the all-new
Disney's Riviera Resort for dining with a gorgeous view at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. Perhaps you would like to spend some time in one of the theme parks.
Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios are both a short walk or
boat ride away from Disney's Beach Club Resort. With so many options, I'm sure you will have a date night that is practically perfect in every way!
Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
