    Hello, Ron,

You will be staying at my favorite of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. I’m excited for you to enjoy the wonderful amenities and magic of the classic Disneyland Hotel.

At this time, the only ways to book dining reservations in advance are through the Disneyland Resort website or using the Disneyland mobile app. Reservations for most restaurants may be made up to 60 days in advance. I too have noticed that booking certain dining reservations can be somewhat challenging. There are several very popular restaurants that tend to book up very quickly as soon as their reservations are released. I’d like to share a few tips that I hope will help you find a coveted table at one of the many delicious dining establishments of the Disneyland Resort.

    1. Be persistent. Keep checking the website and/or the mobile app for reservations that become available. For most restaurants, Guests may cancel as few as two hours before their reservation time. So as plans change, you never know what may come up.
    2. Be flexible. There are often certain restaurants that I would prefer to visit. But when availability is extremely limited, I try to have a plan B: another restaurant in the area or one that has similar food. You may also consider booking multiple dining reservations for smaller parties. If those bookings are for similar times, you may also ask the restaurant host if there is a possibility to seat parties near each other.
    3. Look for last-minute availability. Use the Disneyland mobile app to check for Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability on the day of your visit. Select the dining view on the app’s map screen. Then look for restaurants with available Walk-Up List wait times. It’s worth checking this feature throughout the day, as availability can vary.

I hope that helps you find a way to enjoy the Disneyland Resort dining you are looking forward to, Ron. If you are looking for other tips and advice for your Disneyland Resort vacation, please don’t hesitate to visit us at planDisney again.
