    Hi. I am coming to stay at the Disneyland hotel and go to the parks 8/19-8/22. I know Halloween officially begins on 8/23. Do u think any of the rides will have the Halloween overlay a few days early or if either of the parks with have any decorations up

    Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question. It looks like you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort in a little less than a month - how exciting!

    As you mentioned, the Halloween season officially kicks off at the Disneyland Resort on August 23, which is when you'll for sure get to take in all the spooky ambiance and entertainment. However, when I've visited in the past a few days before the official kick-off to seasons like Halloween and Christmas, we have definitely noticed little hints of those seasons to come!

    While I wouldn't plan on being able to experience the attraction overlays, I do think it's likely that you'll start to see some of the decorations going up around the Disneyland Resort during your stay!

    My recommendation would be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you get closer to your trip to learn more about everything that will be happening around the Happiest Place on Earth during your visit. Additionally, you can check the Disneyland Resort mobile app and the Hours & Events Calendar on the website to see the official schedule for the dates of your trip.
