You and your family will have such a wonderful trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney has made great efforts to make every families vacation the most magical it can be. Guests with special needs that may interfere with their ability to enjoy certain attractions are eligible for the Guest Assistance Card (GAC). Disney has even created a site to assist Guests with Disabilities. Also, the cast members and guest services are knowledgable, friendly and there to assist you. The best place to begin is at Guest Relations upon arrival. While you do not need a note from a physician, it is helpful to the cast member to make sure you all receive the correct assistance. Once you receive it, the GAC informs cast members at certain attractions and will permit the card holder and five others the ability to enter through alternate waiting lines and other more convenient areas when possible. I would suggest that you contact them once you arrive and they will make this visit wonderful, because that is what a family vacation should be. Have a great time.
