Hi Freda,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with your remarkable little girl!
I suggest that you prioritize
Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom parks. With Cinderella's Castle and a number of family friendly rides and attractions, Magic Kingdom is simply special. It has rides for thrill seekers and for those who enjoy a slower pace. At Magic Kingdom, my girls loved Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Peter Pan's Flight when they were 5-years old. In
Disney's Animal Kingdom park, the animals are amazing. Our girls adore Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Festival of the Lion King Show.
Remember to review the
Services for Guests With Disabilities Guide. It will be helpful in determining how to make your visit go smoothly. My husband has a mobility disability so we use the Disability Access Service. This service is designed for guests who have trouble standing in lines. I also suggest that you download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. We use the app to get directions and to check wait times for rides.
Yes, the Walt Disney World resort offers several
Dining Plan options for guests. We usually get either the Disney Dining Plan or the Deluxe Dining Plan and find them to be a great value.
Freda, I trust that you will have a wonderful time with your precious little girl!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
