Coming September 7-14. My son is a big Star Wars fan. Are there any Star Wars characters meet and greets (aside from Star Wars weekends)? Thanks! Love the moms panel!

Chad, in less than a month you will be traveling through a galaxy far, far away on Star Tours!

Outside of Star Wars Weekends, meet and greets with the saga stars are rare. My last regular season pic with Chewbacca shows me holding a now teenager as a two month old infant. Our last shot of R2D2 not taken during a SWW includes my almost eleven year old as a pacifier toting toddler. These guys do make unscheduled appearances occasionally, but the only Star Wars character you are destined to meet is the Rebel spy on your Star Tours Starspeeder 1000.

If you have a young padawan between the ages of 4-12 wishing to learn the ways of the force, sign your child up for the Jedi Training Academy. During the instruction session, Darth Vader, a Stormtropper or two, and a Jedi Master are about for some up close interaction. Arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios early to register for this experience; your padawan must be present when you enroll him or her.

Thank you for your kind words about the Disney Parks Moms Panel; we love guests who ask us questions!

Enjoy your fall visit to Walt Disney World you must.
