Hello! We are coming in September and have reservations for a pirate makeover. I am trying to estimate how much money we need to save and wondering if it is customary to tip the person doing our makeovers. There are 5 of us getting them. Tx for the help!

    Hi Candra,

How awesome is it that you have five people joining the crew at The Pirates League!  You're all going to love it!

Its up to you whether or not you'd like to tip the Cast Members at The Pirates League. Some guests do and some don't but I think that may be because its not always clear as to which Cast Members can accept tips and which ones can't and that policy can change without notice.  When in doubt, I discreetly ask and if they aren't allowed to accept tips, they will tell you.

I am a big believer in tipping in every day life especially when a person goes above the call of duty. I think you will walk away with nothing but great things to say about the Cast Members and a tip is well deserved. I usually tip 15 - 20% but the amount is up to you and I think the Cast Members will be very appreciative of whatever amount you decide upon.

I think it is most awesome of you to think about saving money for tips.  We have a tip jar at our house to save money for tips at Disney. My kids have also made little cards or decorated envelopes in advance for tips for our trip.  The Cast Members seem very pleased and I love sprinkling pixie dust on my pixie dusters.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
