Hi Robert,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family and I visit a Walt Disney World water park on nearly every visit to Walt Disney World. We so enjoy spending a day with all the waterslides and fun!
My family's favorite of the two Walt Disney World water parks is
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. To us, it appeals because it feels very spacious and is so lush in theme. It houses the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, which is North America's biggest wave pool. My daughter and I enjoy a ride on Crush 'n' Gusher, which is a roller coaster-type water ride, and is very unique. Many guests also enjoy snorkeling in Shark Reef, where you can see many types of fish, as well as sharks! I know that many guests also enjoy
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, which includes the incredibly tall and fast Summit Plummet body slide, as well as many other water attractions. We simply enjoy the attractions and theme more at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. If you are the adventurous sort, you could also consider one of the
surfing programs at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. You can take surfing lessons some days before the park even opens!
I have one more suggestion for you: at either water park, there are locations that sell freshly-made mini-donuts. This might sound odd, but the association of leaving a Disney water park with a carton of hot donuts and chocolate sauce is a very happy thought for me!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Robert. Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
