    We are coming in September. Can we link gift cards to individual magic bands of our children. Trying to figure out the best way to do their spending money. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Hello April!

    Ooh, September is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. You must be looking so forward to your vacation. It will be here before you know it!

    Unfortunately, you are unable to link Disney gift cards to the MagicBands, but you will be able to set a custom spending limit to each child's MagicBand. We set a limit for my oldest and then periodically check the balance at the front desk and pay it off with his gift cards. If he doesn't have a gift card, we just assign him a certain limit and when he has spent it all, he is done. It seems to work really well at giving him a little freedom and also teaching him the importance of budgeting and responsibility.
