I had the opportunity to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when it opened at Disneyland Resort, and living out my very own Star Wars adventure was an incredible experience. At this time, we don't know very much about how the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will affect other Walt Disney World Resort events. As Yoda once said, "The dark side clouds everything. Impossible to see the future is." Although there are currently no fall dates listed for
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party or
Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios, keep checking the schedules on the Walt Disney World website. These types of events are sometimes not scheduled very far in advance, so just because they are not available at the moment doesn't necessarily mean that they will be done away with after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog in the coming weeks. Any additional information or announcements regarding the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be posted there.
Hopefully, the special events you are looking for at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be offered during the time of your visit, but if not, there are some other events that might be a good alternative. I did check and see that September dates are available for
Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience if you might be interested in that offering at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Also, there are September dates scheduled for both
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney After Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You might also want to look into other dessert party options, such as the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace.
