Hi Reed,
Welcome to planDisney! I can imagine the excitement in your household as you plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Good news - as long as you did
Memory Maker - Advance Purchase, once it is linked, you should be good to go. Before my family joined the Annual Passholder family, we purchased Memory Maker for our family trips. By the second time we used it, we learned how to make the most of it. We always stop to take photos with
Disney PhotoPass photographers in the parks and we link our attraction photos once we exit the rides with Disney PhotoPass shots.
When using Memory Maker, I do have a few additional tips. Make sure you have the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded on a mobile device that you will have with you in the theme parks. When you take a photo with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, be sure to
link that photo to your My Disney Experience account. Since we always have
MagicBands, we scan our MagicBands with the PhotoPass photographer to be sure our photos link to our account.
Check your PhotoPass photos in My Disney Experience throughout the day to make sure they have linked. If you notice missing photos and you are in a theme park, you can stop by and speak with a Cast Member in Disney PhotoPass Services. As long as I can identify the location and the general time frame the photo was taken, they have always been able to help me find and link photos. If you get home and cannot find photos, you can also
report missing photos online or via phone.
Reed, I hope this helps. A few of our favorite attraction photos include those on Test Track, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. Having those memories to revisit after every vacation is simply priceless. Get your crew photo ready. We cannot wait to welcome you to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
