Hi!! Coming in sept and thinking about doing mickeys backyard bbq show. we are on DDP, is this one credit or two? also, would the kids have the opportunity to "meet" and take pictures with the characters before or after the show? thanks for all t

    Hi Jesica,

The very best time to get autographs and pictures with the characters at Mickey's Backyard BBQ would be before the show.  I strongly suggest that you arrive about 1 hour prior to show time (the cast members will tell you 1/2 hour before is good, but you will be happy when you get there an hour before...trust me!).  The characters will have a meet 'n' greet line-up before the show starts (this is the one really good time to get a great picture with them without it being to chaotic) and you will want to get there as early as possible to get good seating as well (all seats are on a first come, first served basis).  There will be many chances for the children to have interactions with the characters during the show, but it will also be very crowded with all of the children wanting to dance and have fun with them (they will try and visit tables, but this too is also very rushed and they may not have time to get around to everyone), so don't count on this as your one-on-one time with them.

Mickey's backyard BBQ requires 2 Table-Service Meal Credits per person when using the 2011 Disney Dining Plan (but please note that Gratuities are included in this meal).  Have a wonderful time.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
